Mariska Hargitay Back to Work After Injury

Mariska Hargitay is back in the hospital after experiencing discomfort related to her previous problems with a collapsed lung, reports Usmagazine.com.

"Mariska Hargitay went to the hospital this morning after experiencing some discomfort relating to her earlier lung condition," her rep said Wednesday. "She is undergoing routine tests and expects to be feeling better soon."

The "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star has now been hospitalized three times for a collapsed lung; first over the holidays in December, then in January, forcing her to miss the Golden Globes. She returned to work at the end of that month.

Hargitay's rep also says that "production will not be affected" on the popular NBC show.

  • Lung collapse could also be Lymphangioleiomyomatosis LAM disease and it usually affects only women, usually between the onset of puberty and menopause. I have this rare disease and when I heard about Mariska it so reminded me of me. If anyone knows...
