Is Holly Madison joining the cast of "Dancing with the Stars"? ABC's publicists tell "The Insider" "no comment," but we have the potential inside scoop.

A source tells Usmagazine.com that the sexy blonde "Girls Next Door" star could be replacing Jewel, who has been grappling with tendonitis issues and may be forced to drop out of the show due to her dance injuries. She recently blogged about her malady, saying, "[The doctor] said I have tendonitis in my knees and that I have to start a course of medicine to try and bring the swelling down. Yuck! The worst part is that I can't rehearse for the next couple days."

The new season of "DWTS" debuts Monday, and Jewel's rep tells ET that she will appear on the show. If she did have to bow out, it would be that much more of a disappointment since she came on to compete against her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray.

Holly recently made headlines with her split from her illusionist beau Criss Angel, who she started dating after ending her relationship with Playboy icon Hugh Hefner last October.
