A: LETS! After visiting his website I know a lot more about him. He used to play pro baseball until a knee injury in 2008. Doug’s also the CEO of FUGEN Mobile, and has many properties in real estate.
L: Blah, blah blah, he’s hot and rich, but I’m getting a little slimy residue off of him. I don’t know if he’s the best thing for our Pear Pear. He’s been trying to date up for years after a stint with Lauren Conrad’s hills, you know he wanted a film actress and dated Amanda Bynes.
A: Granted, he looks like the kind of guy you take home to mother, but is he dating Paris for the right reasons? I always spelled his last name wrong before he started dating Paris, and now I know for a fact there’s a “D” in it. I’m just saying.
L: He’s smart and knows the way into Paris’ heart is a puppy to love. So he bought her a $10,000 teacup Pomeranian when they were in Japan! How does a Pomeranian even cost $10,000? That means he really loves her you know.
A: That’s ridiculous, frivolous, and totally adorable. Says who?
“She thinks he’s really funny and sweet,” says the insider. “When she ended her previous relationship with Benji [Madden], she promised herself she’d be single for a year. But she thinks Doug’s handsome, generous and fun to be with. Benji was just too boring.”
