Chris was charged with two felonies, and instead of pleading guilty (or not guilty, to be fair), he didn't enter any plea at all, which delays the arraignment until April 6.
Why did he want more time?
It's actually unclear. It could be that he wants more time for the investigation or that he wants to strike a deal. From what we're hearing, the photos we didn't see of Rihanna are so bad that Chris wants to avoid a trial at all costs.
During the proceedings, the commissioner told Chris, "You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone." Think he can stick to that for one month?
She also asked Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra if a "no-contact order" was in place. Her attorney answered, "Miss Fenty does not request such an order." Really? Who would have thought?
Chris also signed a waiver of presence, which allows his lawyer to appear on his behalf if there are any minor proceedings before the April 6 deadline.
Stay tuned...
