Hot off the Web: Seinfeld & Spidey

The internet is abuzz this week with comedian Jerry Seinfeld's emergence from near hermit-ism. The retired star made an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival by zip-cording onto the beach in a giant fuzzy bee costume. No, he hasn't lost his mind, he's merely promoting his upcoming animated flick "Bee Movie." Let's hope the film is better than its publicity stunt.

Speaking of costumed crusaders, how pumped are you for Spiderman 3? Excited enough to buy a Spidey toothbrush? A Spidey dog outfit? How about a Spidey prosthetic fishing rod arm? Yep, someone actually made one. Thank goodness for the internet or this gem might've gone unnoticed.

Finally, the hottest piece of web action this week has to be the fact that superstar singer Melinda Doolittle got kicked off of American Idol. If America really voted, how come every blog, comment, and news source is left asking what happened?
