Britney Spears Takes Time Out for Sick Kids

Pop star Britney Spears makes a surprise visit to a hospital before her Miami concert.

Spears, 27, posed for pictures with a group of sick children at Miami Children's Hospital hours before taking the stage on Saturday, the Associated Press reports. Spears later performed at Miami's American Airlines Arena as part of her Circus tour. 

The singer is also donating $100,000 to the Big Apple Circus Clown Care program, which provides clowns to young hospital patients, the AP said.

  • So happy that Britney is doing better and her tour is going well. It is easy to give if you have money but it makes it special when you care enough to stop. I am sure those children loved it! Hospitals can be boring places.
