Anderson took three spins on the runway Friday, vamping up the sex factor at a fall 2009-winter 2010 display that fairly dripped with campy sensuality.
Models wore lingerie-inspired draped minidresses over grandma woolen tights and crocheted leggings with keyhole openings at the lower back.
Dresses, skirt suits and trench coats were so generously draped it looked like at least a bolt's worth of fabric went into each piece. Still, the looks managed to hug the body at just the right places, creating sexy curves.
Anderson appeared in a tutu and knee socks, her hands tied behind the back, then in a tight football jersey and minishorts and finally in a black skirt suit, which — wrapped in black tulle hung with sparkly spheres — evoked a black widow spider caught in its own web.
The display was held in a gutted hall on Paris' ultra-chic Place Vendome, and the combination of luxury and dilapidation captured Westwood's hallmark devil-may-care spirit. Hundreds of onlookers peered in through the venue's windows to catch a glimpse of the show and catch Anderson and the other models hamming it up for the photographers.
Front-row guest Georgia May Jagger called the display "amazing, one of her best ever."
Jagger — the daughter of model Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger — said she was particularly hankering after the oversized tutus in dusty pink, one of which stood up in stiff ruffles in the back like a duck's bottom.
Asked where she might wear such a piece, she responded, wistfully, "Anywhere, everywhere."
