Johnny Depp said people need to get off Kate Moss and Pete Doherty’s nuts. Johnny, who dated Kate for a few years in the 90’s, claimed the couple is “great together.”

He says, “I was not good for Kate. But she’s a strong girl and a great girl and very smart.

“Dragging her through the mud like that, they (the newspapers) are weird and two-faced. Let her be! I have never met Pete Doherty, but I think he has talent and he and Kate could be great together. She’s got a great brain on her and she’s a great mummy.”

You know, they are great together, except for the fact that Pete is an admitted crack and heroin addict, and Kate is the mother of a toddler.
