If you’d just been dumped by Justin Timberlake AND he had started something with the Sexiest Woman Alive before you were over him AND you had a hot surfer friend living in Hawaii, wouldn’t you go visit him?

Sure you would.

It’s better than making a scene at another awards-show after party.

Much better than going to Hyde with Lindsay and Drew (although you’ll try that first, just to make the paparazzi happy).

And it’s anything but slumming it.

After all, Kelly Slater is the most successful surfer in pro surfing history.

Plus he’s got a conscience, partnering with Reef Check to help save coral reefs worldwide through research, education, and conservation.

And most importantly, he’s hot. He made People’s 50 Most Beautiful People list in 2004, modeled for Versace, and even spent a season on Baywatch.

OK so maybe he’s not the most talented actor. But a girl could do a lot worse.

Let’s hope she doesn’t.
