Video: Tom Hanks on Acting with His Son

"The Insider"'s with Tom Hanks on Tuesday night at the NYC premiere of his new movie, 'The Great Buck Howard.' How did Tom and his son Colin Hanks feel about acting together in the film? Click the video to find out!

"I selfishly attached myself as the dad," Tom Hanks reveals. "I didn't even ask Colin, I just said hey listen I'd like to play the dad. He kind of rolled his eyes and said, 'well yeah, I can see why.' And that was that."

In the film, Tom actually plays Colin’s father, who assumes his son is in law school, when in fact the young man has dropped out to become an assistant to Buck Howard (Malkovich), a washed-up mentalist whose once thriving career needs a serious jump-start!
