New Director for Third Installment of 'Twilight'

A director has reportedly been chosen for the third film in the hugely popular vampire series 'Twilight.'

Summit Entertainment, the studio producing 'Eclipse,' has tapped Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona to direct the film and an official announcement is expected soon, Variety reports.

Bayona -- a protégé of Mexican-born Guillermo Del Toro -- directed the Spanish-language horror-thriller 'The Orphanage' and is attached to helm the upcoming thriller 'Hater.'

Summit has chosen a different director on each 'Twilight' movie. Chris Weitz replaced 'Twilight' director Catherine Hardwicke on the second in the series, 'New Moon,' which is set to open on November 20.
