American Idol - Jorge and Jasmine Cut, Kanye and Kelly Clarkson

Last night we got to kick the first two American Idol hopefuls to the curb. Which is a relief because this season is dreadful.

Kanye and his ego danced on top of the judges table. The judges were noticeably absent. Which was too bad. Kara and Kanye could have compared groundlessly inflated egos while Simon rolled his eyes and rubbed Paula’s thigh.

The show started with a lip synched Jackson 5 dedication that was beyond corny. Scott MacIntyre was left without his smiley-seeing eye guy. He stood in the middle of stage, left behind by his fellow contestants. This left me screaming at the tv, “Someone help the blind guy, c’mon!” After Scott was cleared out they axed poor Jasmine and after a group hug that was half hearted played out, he was left again.

Kelly Clarkson then returned to humble start and performed “My Life Would Suck Without You.” This was easily the highlight of the show. Poor Jorge new what would follow as he barely enjoyed the performance. He was let go and banished from the America Idol stage.
