Video: CA Attorney General Talks Anna Nicole Smith Case

"The Insider" goes one-on-one with California Attorney General Jerry Brown, who reveals whether he thinks the prosecution will succeed in sending Howard K. Stern and two doctors to jail in the Anna Nicole Smith prescription drug case.

“I’m confident that my office, along with the DEA and the state medical board, have done the best job they can. They put a very powerful case in the hands of the Los Angeles district attorney,” Brown tells us. “Now it’s up to him, and I’m confident that he’s going to do a terrific job, and I believe the outcome is rather clear, because the violations are clear.”

Brown says it took his office two years to bring charges against Stern and doctors Sandeep Kapoor and Khristine Eroshevich, each of whom are accused of conspiring to supply the late Anna Nicole with prescription drugs.
