Valentino said, "I wish that she's going to recover very, very soon. She's a good friend."
Regis attended the event with wife Joy, and said, "[Natasha and Liam Neeson] live next door to us in the other building, and it's a tragedy. We're thinking about them all day. She's back in New York so that's a good sign. We're praying for her."
Gwyneth's mom Blythe Danner was visibly moved by the news, saying, "She wrote a beautiful note when [my late husband] Bruce [Paltrow] was ill. She's a beautiful woman and a great actress. I just hope and pray for the best."
Oprah's pal and editor-at-large for O magazine Gayle King had heard conflicting reports on Natasha's condition, and said, "Whatever we know, it's not good, and I'm just sending huge prayers that she's okay. It's just one of those freak accidents."

Gwyneth wore one of her favorite Valentino dresses, and said, "He's one of the most talented men I've ever met. He's just a perfectionist to another degree. It's just great to be friends with somebody like that."
And Gayle added, "Valentino makes creations, he doesn't just make dresses. I have a killer red Valentino dress … that makes me feel va-va-va-voom."
