The company tells us that Britney picked up the Pack-a-Be, a backpack style diaper bag, in the Perennials pattern at the Nordstrom at The Grove in LA. Later she was photographed wearing the bag heading for Orlando. True it's a stylish diaper bag, but we didn't see her little ones with her, so we think she just thinks it's an awesome bag, no matter what its use! (Check out Britney with the bag here and here.)
I have the Pack-a-Be in Lush Paisley and think it's the bomb. It's so roomy, with good size pockets, and the smartly bright lining so you can actually find stuff. I'm a big fan of the magnetic close exterior pockets too. You just have to love their loud-and-proud patterns. If you don't love them, they do have very sedate options- black with lime or silver trim and brown with pink or blue trim. I do find the Pack-A-Be to be slightly heavy so it's not for quick jaunts.
Their other bag styles include a diaper changing kit, a wristlet, a diaper-only bag, a messenger bag, a toddler tote, a small diaper bag (for short trips), and "dad" bags (you know, not loud-and-proud or pink).
I also like their coordinating silvertone accessories which include a "snack capsule," which we use to bring Anya's food wherever we go- we call it her feedbag, a "mess shuttle" for dirty clothes, a "wardrobe station" for an extra set of clothes, and a "bottle and sippy rocket" to keep those drinks cool. I love that you can throw all of these things into the bag and reload them and always be ready to go.
They put as much thought into their website too. Not only do they show you what the inside of each bag looks like, a forum to discuss issues and suggestion, they also have a cool feature- the IRL Gallery- photos of their very satisfied customers with their bags and what fits in their bags.
Other celeb parents who have been sent Ju-Ju-Be bags include Matt Damon, Tom Cruise (who received the JJB Dad Bag), Katie Holmes, and Jennifer Garner.
Ju-Ju-Be was one of many companies who, participating in our Holiday Project, sent over $450 of their products to Good Shepherd, a leading youth development and family service agency that serves over 18,000 clients a year.
