The manager and half brother of funnyman and film star Dane Cook has been indicted by a Massachusetts grand jury for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from the actor.

Citing Attorney General Martha Coakley’s office, the Associated Press reports that Darryl McCauley, 43, was charged with eight counts of larceny over $250, forgery and larceny by continuous scheme.

According to prosecutors, McCauley was being paid $12,500 a month as Cook's employee at the time he allegedly stole from Cook, says the AP. McCauley is also accused of writing a $3 million check to himself by forging Cook's signature.

McCauley's attorney Robert Goldstein tells the AP that his client denies stealing the money.
