They Get Paid WHAT? Shocking Dancing With The Stars Salaries”

The celebs on “Dancing With the Stars,” for example, get $200,000 for the entire season, whether they’re booted or not, a bonus of $100,00 if they’re number one, a smaller bonus if they’re number two, an even smaller bonus if they’re number 3, a top TV agent told The Wrap.

A: $200,000 dollars? I’m sorry I thought they’d get more that show gets over 31 million viewers a week. So basically Melissa Rycroft got dumped on The Bahelor, which doesn’t even have a cash prize, and still made more money than us on a reality show.
L: But you have to remember they’re nobody’s, how much do you think the American Idol prositiutes are getting for their Ford Commercials and I tunes sales? Nothing.
A: So when Jewel fell out and Nacy O Dell just couldn’t do it because of an injury, then do they still get paid $200,000 for failing?
L: Yes I do.
A: I’ve worked in Hollywood long enough to know that $200,000 minus taxes, is almost half so let’s be generous and say you’re left with $120,000. Then they have to pay your agent 10% of the total check, don’t forget their lawyer 5%, and a manager if they have one for another 10%. These stars are taking home about $90,00 dollars, and learning almost two dances a week. I think we can agree that these stars are dancing for their lives and some waltz their way into a career upswing while others…well we all saw what happened to Heather Mills.

  • Who cares? They asked her to be on the show, she didn't just call them up and tell them she was doing their show. She was a last minute replacement. Next to Gilles she is the best dancer.

  • it would be nice if everyone looked at some of the important facts.
    jason, melissa and exec. producer fleiss all have said that jason and melissa were broken up prior to the show AFTR. so it stands to reason that they were and the whole exchange...

    • Melissa was contractually obligated to show up at the reunion. yes they were broken up, but melissa had given interviews and said she had asked jason if it was because of another woman, specifically Molly, and he always said no. Bottom line, HE DID...
