The comedy series, which stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and Charlie Sheen, is already on its 6th season. The contract renewal would mean WB has agreed to settle the million lawsuit it filed against CBS over the show's license fees and product cost reimbursements.
The sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" has also been renewed for two more years.
CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler told the Hollywood Reporter, "Our collaboration with Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre (show's co-creator) for these two series has lead to great entertainment for television audiences and has been very good business for CBS. With these shows firmly in place, CBS is well-positioned for more comedy success in the years ahead."
