The former Spice Girl has decided to take a year off of dating men in order to solve her commitment issues, issues which apparently arose after she cancelled her engagement to Fabrizio Politi. A friend of Geri Halliwell is quoted as saying: “Even though she initiated it, Geri is gutted over her break-up with Fabrizio. She feels like a failure in the romance department, so she says she’s going to take a year off from dating. She’s going to do some serious self-examination and figure out the root of her commitment issues. She is prepared to go a full year without a man in her life.” What kind of life has Geri Halliwell lived up until now that she has never had a whole year without a man? That might just be the root of all her so-called “commitment” issues so a year without any men might do Geri Halliwell some good… as long as she sticks to it… or doesn’t change the team.
