How much would you pay for some George Clooney lip action? Well, one lucky woman got her very rich boyfriend to cough up a cool $350,000 for her to have the honor of swapping spit with the sexy star. Gorgeous George was the incentive for the donor to buy a luxury yacht vacation at an AmFAR (that's the American Foundation for AIDS Research) benefit in Cannes. Mmm… a George Clooney kiss *and* a yacht trip? Sounds like it was worth every penny.
And in other international incidents, it seems like actress Brittany Murphy may have either been conned or is helping a con. Seems that when the scrawny starlet married her British producer husband, Simon Monjack, a few weeks ago he was already a wanted man. The rogue had been arrested the month before for being in the country past the expiration date on his work visa, not to mention the skuzzy reputation he has back in his homeland for bad debts. Let's hope Brittany's married life turns out better than her recent string of box office flops. Like, really.
