Real Housewives Gretchen Rossi Supports 'Green With Fashion'

PHILADELPHIA, PA (March 27, 2009) – Gretchen Rossi from Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Orange County,” will be attending Green with Fashion on April 22nd at the F.U.E.L. Collection (249 Arch Street) at 7pm. The event, which benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, will feature a fashion show, which Rossi will walk in. Rossi is currently nominated for the LLS “Woman of the Year” title for the Orange County, CA chapter. Rossi has dedicated much of her time to the support of LLS, since her fiancé passed away this past September from Leukemia.

Green with Fashion is a charity eco fashion show, which will feature thirty locally- and nationally-known designers and boutiques. In addition to eco-conscious clothiers, fashion design students from Drexel University will be unveiling their sustainable men’s and women’s sportswear line. Tickets will be available presale only for $20.

Five Miss Philadelphia winners, Brintha Vasagar (2008), Kimberly Rogers (2007), Mary Kaye Jacono Anthony (2006), Kate Wilson Cohen (2000), and Dr. Kiplee Bell (1998) will also walk in the show.

The term “eco-fashion” refers to stylized clothing that uses environmentally sensitive fabrics and responsible production techniques. Clothes created in an eco-conscious manner pay special attention to the environment, the health of consumers and the working conditions of people in the fashion industry.
