Taye Diggs and Wife Idina Menzel Expecting First Baby

Taye Diggs and his longtime love, wife Idina Menzel, are going to be parents!

Us Magazine reports that the couple, who have been together for 13 years and married for six, are expecting their first baby later this year.

Us reports that Diggs of "Private Practice" fame and Menzel, who won a Tony for her star-making turn in Broadway's Wicked, met on the original Broadway production of Rent in 1996.

Menzel told US last year of her hubby: "He's always wanted kids. He grew up with four younger brothers and sisters, so he's very comfortable around children." She told the mag that they keep their marriage strong by working "really hard to stay best friends."
