It was Most Popular Downloads week on American Idol and the remaining nine contestants were free to choose a song that would best show off their musical talents.

Kris Allen chose Ain’t No Sunshine. Randy Jackson said, “You’ve been slaying them…you’re in the zone.” Kara DioGuardi declared, “That is artistry.” Paula Abdul said, “That could be the first cut on your album.” Simon Cowell summed it all up by proclaiming, “You brought confidence…very good arrangement. Your best performance.”
