Vodka deal dries up for Lindsay’s birthday

Svedka vodka has had second thoughts about sponsoring her 21st-birthday bash in Las Vegas after Gatecrasher’s story Wednesday.

Lohan, you may recall, has struggled with alcohol and has been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings. But last week it emerged that the Swedish vodka company was to be a major paying sponsor of her two-day party.

After initially acknowledging the deal (which was also confirmed by Lohan’s lawyer), a different rep for the vodka company now tells us it will not be sponsoring the weekend.

Lohan plans a lavish two-day celebration in Las Vegas over the weekend of July 2-3, with Caesars Palace footing much of the bill.

Maybe she could interest Lipton tea to replace Svedka as the beverage sponsor?
