Megan Fox & Mickey Rourke to Make 'Passion'

Megan Fox may be the angel Mickey Rourke needs.

In the upcoming film 'Passion Plays,' the 'Transformers' actress is set to play an angel to Oscar nominee Rourke, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The film is set in 1950s Los Angeles and follows a down-on-his-luck trumpet player (Rourke) who meets an angel (Fox) who he attempts to save from a gangster to receive redemption.

The indie drama -- written and directed by Mitch Glazer ('The Recruit,' 'Scrooged') -- has Fox's character in the film looking like "a slender beauty with wings who is part of a carnival," THR.com reports.

As of yet, no production date has been reported for 'Passion Plays.'
