Top Shop in the US is headline enough, but Jennifer Lopez and Kate Moss in the same picture, now there’s a headline for sure! Kate Moss as everybody knows has strong ties with Top Shop with her own Kate Moss label within the store causing chaos at the flagship UK Oxford Street store with brand new designs clearing out in 15 minutes flat and online in a similar period of time.
With those sort of credentials and a fashion hungry but on an increasingly tighter budget US shopper, Top Shop - US in New York just could be onto something here, and with heavyweight fashion icons Kate Moss adding her name and Jennifer Lopez gracing her presence in approval , this will cause heads to turn, stop dead in their tracks in New York and take a closer look! A shrewd business move by Sir Philip Green the Top Shop owner who was also at the event.
The new Top Shop store is opening on a prime location on New York’s Broadway and the two stars Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez both sporting new looks were at the opening bash held last night to give the event some cred, which it certainly did!
