Regis and Kelly take a tour of New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa spent the weekend taking in the sights and sounds of New Orleans while taping segments for their syndicated morning talk show, "Live with Regis and Kelly."

The taping of four shows is being done from Fulton Street near the Mississippi River on Monday and Tuesday, and one of the shows is scheduled to air live Monday morning. The shows will include celebrity interviews and musical acts and will air daily through Thursday.

Guests include New Orleans sports stars Reggie Bush — a running back for the New Orleans Saints — and NBA standout for the New Orleans Hornets, Chris Paul. Teen sensation Miley Cyrus and her father, country music singer Billy Ray Cyrus, are slated to perform.

This is the show's 5th time taping from New Orleans.
