Leonardo DiCaprio almost quit acting

After Titanic, Leonardo DiCaprio considered quitting acting because he was back to being “another piece of cute meat.”

It was pretty disheartening to be objectified like that. I wanted to stop acting for a little bit. It changed my life in a lot of ways, but at the same time, I can’t say that it didn’t give me opportunities. It made me, for the first time, in control of my career.

I know. Seriously ladies, why do you have to demean guys like Leo and me. Objectifying us hurts. Don’t think I can’t hear you guys taking about my delicious body and perfect ass. I’m more than just “something to stare at for hours on end.” If you bothered to ask, you would have found out I’m on the verge of curing cancer and ending world hunger, but all you seem to care about is how toned my body is. Sometimes I wish my cheeks were a little less chiseled so people would take me seriously.
