John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston have kept a low profile since the tragic death of their son Jett on January 2, but famous friends like Olivia Newton-John and Leah Remini have revealed how the couple is doing now.
"How do you deal with the greatest tragedy in your life? I can tell you that they are handling it the best any parent could ever deal," friend Remini tells People magazine.
Meanwhile, John's 'Grease' co-star Newton-John tells the mag, "John is a strong man, but we want to leave him in peace. To lose a loved one -- it's the worst time in anyone's life."
According to People, the couple has been sticking close to their Ocala, FL home and a family friend says they are reaching out to those closest to them.
"They aren't secluding themselves or paralyzed," the friend says. "[Seeing them] was like old times. Nothing awkward and no topics to dance around. There were smiles."
