Doctor of Kanye West's Mother Surrenders His License
Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mother the day before she died in November 2007, has surrendered his license, People Magazine reports. According to Candis Cohen, a spokeswoman for the Medical Board of California, "A series of complaints were filed against Mr. Adams, but he chose to surrender his license instead of contest them." In addition to two DUI convictions and failure to pay child support, Adams has also received four malpractice judgments against him between 2001 and 2007.
