Of course, there's more on Katherine's resume than just Dr. Izzie Stevens. The beautiful DC native has also become as a red-carpet icon.

And she's a woman of character too. She demonstrated this by bravely sticking up for pal T.R. Knight after fellow Grey's actor Isaiah Washington aimed homophobic remarks at him. Then she proved her magnanimity by publicly forgiving Isaiah (what a gal).

Now Katherine is taking on her biggest challenge: the big screen. This weekend, the radiant blond will appear in 40-Year-Old-Virgin creator Judd Apatow's newest comedy, Knocked Up.
