Damn you, CMT, I can't take the pressure
I'm not good at picking winners.  I get hives when I have to choose who or what I like the most and vote on it.  I'm one of those who if you ask me what I want to go out to dinner and have I say, "I don't care," and I mean it.  I'm so laid back about crap like that it drives people crazy.  I just can't take the pressure.  That's why when I have a contest on the site I just tell people to email me and I'll draw names out of a hat, it's much simpler that way.

Well CMT has added to my anxiety with this newest email.

First round voting for the 2009 CMT Music Awards is now upon us.  In order to keep your favorite artists going, please get fans to vote in the first round voting beginning today, April 13th and ending May 11th.  From there nominees will be cut down and the next round of voting will begin.

OMG!  My Calamine lotion just took care of my hives from the ACM voting.  I'm signed up to all these fan sites and artist websites so my email has been bombarded with please vote for so and so and every other post in my feed reader has been CMT music awards are upon us, make sure you go over and vote for _____________.

Ugh.  I love having the freedom to vote, it's the American way, but I so can't stand the pressure.  I've now got my blinders and earmuffs on and will be ignoring all future messages to vote for a certain artist.  Just so you know.
