Will Ferrell Appearing on TV's 'Man Vs. Wild'

Will Ferrell to Bring Bush Humor in Broadway Debut

Will Ferrell will face nature's wrath alongside TV adventurer Bear Grylls on an upcoming episode of "Man vs. Wild."

Ferrell and Grylls will venture "far north" of Sweden, where for 48 hours they’ll brave freezing temperatures, descend down frozen waterfalls, forage for food, and slake their thirst with an unmentionable beverage, says Variety.

"Will did an amazing job in sub-zero, very unforgiving conditions," Grylls says. "He trusted me when it mattered and we survived... He should be very proud of how he performed."

Ferrell described his walk on the wild side as "a thrill of a lifetime."

The episode will air on the Discovery Channel in early June.
