David Archuleta Joins Disco Night on 'American Idol' at The Insider

"American Idol" season seven runner up David Archuleta is headed back to the "Idol" stage and he will be joined by some iconic disco stars!

Tuesday April 21 the top 7 "Idol" finalists will perform songs from the disco era.

The following night Archuleta will perform his new single "A Little Too Not Over You," and disco stars Harry Wayne "KC" Casey (of KC and the Sunshine Band), Thelma Houston and Freda Payne will perform a medley of their hit songs "Get Down Tonight," "Don't Leave Me this Way," and "Band of Gold."

Don't miss "American Idol" Tuesday April 21 on Fox.

won't miss this for anything....we've (fans) been waiting for this moment when David returns to Idol and perform...this time he comes as a guest...He has had a busy but wonderful time after Idol...Proud of what he as accomplished in a short period of time...nearly double platinum single (CRUSH), certified Gold self-titled album, Sold out initial solo tour, successful Asian Promo Tour(Singapore & Malaysia), UK tour w/ McFly, Back to back Concert w/ David Cook in Manila's Mall of Asia, forthcoming US tour with Demi Lovato...David Archuleta makes us proud...

yesssssssssssss! the best news i've heard all day - david is coming back to idol! he has really become the face of season 7 - he should have won, but so what.... he's another proving that winning that title doesn't mean you're the best, or will be the most successful.... can't wait to see him!

I agree...Idol hasn't been the same without David Archuleta. Can't wait to see him in concert and on AI next week!
Kris reminds me alot of David in some ways so I'm hoping he'll win this season.

I can't wait to see David Archuleta on TV again! He is beyond amazing! he did an awesome job during his solo tour and during his visit in Asia. He is a phenomenal performer/singer/songwriter. I love his new single "A Little Too Not Over You". I'll be watching American Idol on Wednesday just to see him.
