Golden Girls and the City

I’m not really sure if anyone is still interested in seeing a gaggle of broads pushing 50 discussing blow jobs and Manolos, but regardless, the Sex and the City movie still might happen.

Although she refused to confirm anything, Sarah Jessica Parker claimed she’s still hopeful the hit HBO comedy will hit the big screen.

“I don’t know,” she said plainly when asked about the possibility of the film. “I don’t know if we have it or not. I’m not being cagey. I was hopeful the first time; I will remain hopeful this time around as we all ponder it.”

“I would love nothing more than to be out on those streets, right [at] this time of day, with that group of people and someone shouting out ‘action,’ but we’ll see,” she said. “You know it is part of the decision that everyone else wants to make.”

Personally, I thought the last two seasons of the show seemed depressing and desperate, so I think I can live without the feature film version.

What do you think? Would you check it out, or skip it? Bonus question: who would you rather bang: Dorothy or Blanche?
