Last Night's American Idol offered a compelling moment in television, when the judges used their one-time power to salvage contestant Matt Giraud from voter rejection. But it also robbed the world of an even more compelling moment: The sight of AI judges Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell pummelling each other over the decision.
