Howard K. Stern's Lawyer Fires Back at CA Attorney General

In what's become a back-and-forth public debate, "The Insider" has the latest statement issued by Howard K. Stern's attorney, Steve Sadow, criticizing California Attorney General Jerry Brown.

"I intend to defend Howard K. Stern in court as well as in the media," Sadow tells "The Insider." "Brown publicly accused Mr. Stern to advance his political career, but now wants to hide behind the Los Angeles District Attorney. Brown's behavior is just another unfortunate example of political grandstanding."

Earlier, Brown responded to allegations made by Sadow about the case against Stern, who (along with two doctors) is accused of conspiring to supply the late Anna Nicole Smith with prescription drugs before her death.

"Evidently, Mr. Sadow prefers media pronouncements to trial preparation," Brown told "The Insider."
