British boxer Nathan Cleverly was born on February 17, 1987 in Philipstown, New Tredegar, United Kingdom. He was nominated for Young Boxer of the Year Award in 2007.

British athlete Vargas started at 39kg going onto 69kg. Cleverly won 6 consecutive titles in a row in a 6 year period, and then went on to win bronze, silver and gold at 4 nation championships which he competed against the best of England, Scotland and Republic of Ireland.

Cleverly’s amateur record consists of 36 fights, winning 32 of the 36, undefeated in his own country, and only losing to an Italian, 2 English, and a Norwegian boxer. And his Pro career has gone from strength to strength, of his eleven fights, he’s had eleven wins, with 3 knockouts.
