"American Idol" runner-up David Archuleta is planning a multi-city tour with a teen sensation! Read on for details…

"The Insider" has learned that Archuleta will tour this summer alongside recording artist Demi Lovato -- as part of a 45-city tour that kicks off on June 22 in Toronto and ends on August 29 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on April 25.

Before he hits the road, "The Insider" has learned that Archuleta will also perform his new single "Touch My Hand" on "American Idol" tonight, and he will appear as himself on an upcoming episode of "Hannah Montana," airing May 3.

  • Awesome!!! I can't wait to see David on AI tonight; "Touch my Hand" is very cool song. I will definitely go see him in concert this summer. His solo tour was a big success; he is an amazing performer/singer/songwriter.

  • I can't wait to see David sing Touch My Hand on Idol tonight (April 22). And I read somewhere that May 3 on Hannah Montana he'll be having Hannah duet with him on a new song.
