Evan Rachel Wood is going to be hitting screens across America as a vampire queen.

EW.com's Michael Ausiello reports that she'll be playing Queen Sophie-Anne Leclerq in HBO's hit vampire series, "True Blood."

A show insider tells Ausiello that she'll appear on two episodes towards the end of the second season, but will definitely be back for season three if the show is renewed.

In Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse novels, on which "True Blood" is based, the central character of Sophie-Anne is an ancient French vamp who rules the undead of Louisiana.
