David Slade Tapped to Direct 'Eclipse'
Even as the cast and crew push ahead with the Twilight sequel New Moon in Vancouver, Summit Entertainment is putting the pieces together for the vampire saga's third installment. MTV reports that David Slade with take over the directing reins from Chris Weitz for Eclipse. Slade has some experience in the vampire genre, having directed 30 Days of Night, starring Josh Hartnett. He also helmed the unnerving child-abuse film Hard Candy, starring Juno's Ellen Page and Watchmen's Patrick Wilson.
