Lil Rounds was told almost immediately that she was eliminated. No lead up other than Ryan saying we need someone like you in the competition. Then boom. Not a big surprise though considering she's been getting negative feedback for the past few weeks and never did really find her groove.
The other contestants in the bottom two were Anoop and Allison. After a performance by last year's runner up, David Archuleta, Ryan revealed that it would be Anoop going home.
Next week's American Idol theme is "Rat Pack Standards"---Taylor Hicks will return to perform.
