Video: 'Dog Whisperer' Cracks Down on Puppy Mills

Cramped wire cages, dirty conditions, neglectful caretakers -- We're taking an exclusive look inside the world of puppy mills with the "Dog Whisperer" himself, Cesar Millan.

On an upcoming episode of his acclaimed show, Cesar sees puppy mill horrors and works to rescue and rehabilitate caged pups with the animal rights group Last Chance for Animals.

Catch "Dog Whisperer: Inside Puppy Mills" when it airs Friday, May 8 at 9 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.

  • I cannot watch this program in Canada as our National Geographic channel does not carry the same content as in the U.S. But I shall watch for it on Cesar's shows, as I agree thoroughly that puppy & kitten sales in pet shops should be outlawed to end...

  • This is a HUGE part of the problem---Ceasar tells people not to buy puppies from puppy mills, but VERY RARELY does a family buy a dog directly from a mill, they buy them from the middle man---THE PET SHOP....

    So the education that needs to be...
