Robert Redford’s Daughter Makes Directorial Debut

Amy Redford, the actress daughter of Robert (”Sundance Kid”) Redford, is making her directorial debut with “The Guitar,” an independent film scripted by Amos Poe and starring Saffron Burrows as a struggling heroine who’s diagnosed with terminal cancer, fired from a lousy job and dumped by her boyfriend. She uses her last two months and her life savings to fulfill her two dreams - romance and playing the electric guitar, Cinematical.com reports. The picture, now shooting in New York, also stars Isaach De Bankolé (of “Casino Royale”) and indie punk actress Paz de la Huerta.
