Meanwhile, "The Insider" interviewed Scottish singing phenom Susan Boyle's hairstylist, and she's spilling all about Susan's "wee, mini makeover."
When audiences worldwide first saw Susan winning hearts on "Britain's Got Talent," her hair was short, curly and a stately gray color, but now she's looking even more lovely, sporting a shorter, chestnut brown 'do!
Caroline Boyle (no relation) of Miss Toner's salon told "The Insider" that it was a "collective decision" between Susan, her family, and the stylist to give her a new look: "We decided [that] to change her [a lot] was not a good idea -- you know she's charming as she is -- so we just trimmed it a little and put a little color in, [to] take away the gray."
Caroline explained that the reason for the cut and color, which cost about $51, was partially due to criticism from the press: "I think the papers like to sell papers, so they say some horrible things, but it's not nice for [Susan's] family to read those kinds of things, so I think that's why she had a wee, mini makeover -- just to make her look her best, rather than change her."
She said that Susan is a regular customer, and enjoyed whiling away Thursday afternoon at the salon: "She was very relaxed and she [commented] that that was the most relaxed she had felt in a few days, so she just sat in the chair and enjoyed the chat, and enjoyed the wee transformation."
Caroline told "The Insider" that while the locals knew of Susan's singing talent, they have nonetheless been "blown away" by her newfound fame, and commented, "I don't think there was a dry eye in Scotland when she sang."
On whether Susan ever breaks into song at the salon, Caroline replied no, but added, "I think we might ask her the next time she's in!"

Do you think Susan Boyle will continue to pursue a career in entertainment now that Britain’s Got Talent is over?
