Lil Boosie Barred For Assualt Charges
According to local TV station WAFB, Baton Rouge, Louisiana Sheriff officers arrested Lil Boosie on Wednesday (April 22) and charged him with 2nd degree battery.

Police say an unidentified man was assaulted during the April 12 confrontation, after Lil Boosie, Torrance Hatch, accused him of stealing jewelry.

According to police, the man may have been struck with a vase during the brawl.The man was treated for the non-life threatening injuries he sustained.

This is Lil Boosie's second runi in with the law in the past six months.

In October of 2008, the 25-year-old was arrested when East Baton Rouge police arrested him for marijuana possession, possession of a firearm and resisting arrest.

Lil Boosie and his partner Webbie are also the subjects of several multi-million dollar lawsuits, which allege the entertainers took tens of thousands of dollars for performances, but never showed up.
