After many rumors about Julie Chen as to whether or not she was pregnant, it is official that Julie Chen is expecting to have her first child with CBS President, Les Moonves, in October. Julie announced this on-air on The Early Show. “It wasn’t a big Sunday at the buffet table,” Julie joked. “I’m starting to show now! I’m not taking maternity leave from Big Brother. I e-mailed my boss over there this weekend and I said, ‘Don’t worry. I can still do the show!’”
The new baby will join Les’ three adult children from a previous marriage – Adam, Sara and Michael. I am glad that Julie will still be able to host Big Brother because I could not imagine anyone else taking her place. Good luck with the pregnancy Julie!
