What I personally like about this wedding is that it’s pretty unconventional. Take the rehearsal dinner, for example. Yesterday’s party was styled as a masquerade with all the guests wearing Venetian masks and exquisite designer gowns and suits.
I definitely love Salma Hayek’s deep blue gown. It’s cool. It’s beautiful. Excited about her wedding dress. By the way, the wedding is held today in Salma’s billionaire husband Francois-Henri Pinault’s 18th century Palazzo Grassi where the couple first met in 2006.
There are no details on the wedding ceremony yet but I can say the guests list is pretty impressive.
Salma and Francois invited Charlize Theron and her actor boyfriend Stuart Townsend, Salma’s ex Ed Norton, British supermodel Lily Cole, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Penelope Cruz, Ashley Judd, Gael Garcia Bernal, Lucy Liu, Woody Harrelson, magician David Blaine, Kylie Minogue’s ex, French actor Olivier Martinez, and former French President Jacques Chirac.
Congrats (again!) to the happy couple! Happy Venice wedding!
