Greed is good -- again. Michael Douglas and director Oliver Stone will officially reunite for a sequel to the 1987 hit 'Wall Street,' reports Variety, and 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' star Shia LaBeouf is reportedly in negotiations to join them for the film.

The sequel will once again follow a young trader learning the ropes on Wall Street, now incorporating the country's recent economic meltdown as a result of rampant greed and corruption. Michael Douglas will reprise his role as corporate raider Gordon Gekko, fresh out of jail -- a role that earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor. Charlie Sheen starred in the original film as a newbie trader who sells his soul for a piece of the pie.
