Montag and Pratt, who tied the knot in Los Angeles on Saturday, made the trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a little business and some relaxation. But the two are heading home early because of the influenza outbreak in the country.
Pratt, who was recently photographed with Montag wearing protective masks on the beach, had this to say to "The Insider":
"After the best day of both our lives, Heidi and I left L.A. Sunday for Cabo to shoot the music video for Heidi's new single 'Blackout'. We planned to stay through Sunday. Unfortunately, due to the pig flu epidemic, the Pratts are headed home this evening. Heidi's new EP is available on iTunes today. Check it out!"
The cast of MTV's hit reality show "The Real World" was shooting this season in Mexico's scenic beach city, Cancun -- but the crew wrapped production in time and say the cast and crew have not been hit with the swine flu.
"The production of 'The Real World: Cancun' was not affected in any way by the current swine flu outbreak," the show's production company tells "The Insider." "We wrapped production as regularly scheduled, and to our knowledge, no roommates or crew members are showing signs of sickness. The show has taken full precautions to instruct the roommates and the crew on preventive measures and proper care if anyone were to fall ill."
